Angel Blankets works with hospitals across the US by providing our Bereavement Sets to families experiencing miscarriage or stillbirth. These sets are prepackaged, coordinating items including a handmade blanket, gown or sleeper, diaper, and two hats. The full sets are available in sizes 21 weeks through full-term. Those under 21 weeks receive a blanket and appropriately sized hat and diaper. 

When a family hears the words "There is no heartbeat" there is no time for shopping or preparing even the basic clothing needs every baby deserves. Angel Blankets Bereavement Sets Program provides dignity and a sense of normal amidst the upheaval a miscarriage or stillbirth brings. 

This program is for parents who have experienced a miscarriage or stillbirth. Leaving the hospital empty handed is devastating and there is a very real physical pain when there is no baby to hold. The Memorial Blanket Program aims to fill that void; sometimes quite literally. While nothing can replace the loss of a child, having a tangible item to hold can be helpful. The program allows a parent to request a blanket in memory of the baby. They may suggest a color they prefer and will give basic info such as if they named the baby, the gestation, and whether they knew gender.
